AWANA Commander Arnie Caldon says:

The AWANA program is for chldren ages 3 through 8th grade.

AWANA meets at 6:00 p.m. each Wednesday night during the school year.

AWANA Club meetings are jam packed with life changing experiences. The clubs are run by trained leaders with a love for the Lord Jesus Christ and a desire to help young people. Each meeting includes Handbook Time, with an emphasis on scripture memorization; Council Time, including devotions and music; and Game Time. Uniforms are worn and there are weekly dues.

AWANA teaches children that God is real, that He loves them, and that He has expressed that love through Jesus Christ. They also learn how God can help them in their daily lives. Lessons from the Bible teach them how to honor God in a sinful world.

AWANA "Feed the Hungry" Kick-off. For the month of January ALL clubbers are to bring can goods to hlep re-stock the MBC Food Pantry.

AWANA "Blue vs. Orange Night is, January 25. Clubbers are wearing Memphis Blue or Tenessee Orange...let's see which color is most visible.
