PLANNING A VISIT?

 1) Getting to Know You
It’s okay to not be okay! Listen, we get it! You’re not perfect and news flash …. neither are we. Many times people come to church with a preconceived idea about church in general or walk in the door feeling like they’re going to be judged by others. We want you to know that here at our church, not only do we welcome you, but we want you to come and be with us.
We are aware of the fact that meeting people for the first time can be intimidating or coming to church for the first time can be nerve wrecking. But we want to help make your first experience at Munford Baptist a great one!
When you arrive on campus, find your way inside and someone on our greeting team will help get you pointed in the right direction.

 2) Service Times
Sunday Morning Worship service starts at 10:00 AM. Small group gatherings for almost every age group follow the worship service.

We also meet for Bible Study on Wednesday nights.
Wednesday Night Kids Program meets in the Future Generations Building and is for kids from the age of Nursery, all the way up to 6th grade. Our student ministry meets in the old sanctuary building (7th grade to 12th grade). Pastor Todd leads an adult Bible Study each week in the main sanctuary.
*All of our regular service times are also located on our home page.*

 3) Location
Our church just happens to be one of the churches in our community that is pretty easy to locate. We are located at 1253 Munford Avenue, which is the brick building on the left (with the tall steeple), or on the right if you’re coming from downtown Munford.

 4) What to Expect
In total, a typical worship service at MBC lasts about an hour and fifteen minutes. We begin promptly at 10:00 with a few announcements, then one of our deacons will read a passage of Scripture from the Bible to help prepare us for the service. Next, our worship band will lead us in music (song lyrics are projected on to a screen so you can sing along or worship however you feel comfortable). And then our pastor, Dr. Todd Wilson, will come and preach a sermon from the Bible filled with hope, encouragement, and gospel truth!

 5) What About My Kids?
We at MBC believe that the most important place for a child to be on Sundays is in the pew right next to their parents.  We have family integrated worship which means we do not have Children’s Church.  We do offer Children’s Small Groups after service for Prekindergarten through 5th grade.  Your children are also welcome to join you in your Small Group after corporate worship. If you have any questions about your visit and where your kids will be during your visit, feel free to contact the church office or speak directly to Heath Sanders.

 6) Let Us Know You’re Coming
There are a few ways you can let us know you’ll be coming.
 • Call the church during regular office hours throughout the week to have any questions you may have answered at (901) 837-6325.
 • You could send us an email at munfordbaptist@gmail.com. Our church secretary will receive your email and respond back to you if necessary.
Find our Facebook page and click the “Like” button. After that, you can send us a message and let us know you’ll be joining us. Or you can ask any questions you may have. We are pretty good at responding back within 24 hours.

 7) Testimonials
“A church that has not forgotten that as Christians our mission is to spread the gospel. A church that cares about the community. A church that knows that children are the future. Such good down-to-earth people, trying to do Gods will while passing through this old world. I encourage anyone to visit and see for yourself.”
– Sherry Tillery

“I love my church! We are broken, depraved people who love our Lord and are striving to know Him better and be more like Him. Sound, biblical teaching.”

– Beverly Johnson

“Awesome church…..pastor is awesome…..the people are awesome……come & give it a try….. you’re guaranteed to learn.”
